Pineal Gland Calcification – How to decalcify pineal gland with organic sulfur?

Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland naturally With Organic Sulfur?

Have you ever heard of a gland referred to as the “third eye”?

You may or may not heard of it. This gland is called the pineal gland and is sometimes called the “third eye” because it looks very similar to a human eye.

The pineal gland is reddish-gray color and is a small pea-sized gland shaped like a pinecone located between your left and right hemispheres of your brain.

Of the endocrine gland functions, the pineal gland’s function was the last one to be discovered. It contains mainly pinealocytes, which are cells that produce the hormone melatonin and glial cells.

Melatonin is responsible for regulating our daily and seasonal circadian rhythms. And glial cells are a particular type of brain cells that support neurons. Source.

Now if you some basic understanding of what pineal gland is. Next I will discuss the following in detail:

  • What are the functions of pineal glands?
  • What are the causes of pineal gland calcification?
  • How to decalcify pineal gland with organic sulfur?

What are the functions of pineal gland?

Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland naturally With Organic Sulfur?

The primary role of pineal gland is to produce and secrete melatonin. Melatonin has various functions. It plays a vital role in our body’s biological clock because it helps to regulate the our sleep-wake cycle known as the circadian rhythm.

Circadian rhythm is basically a 24-hour internal clock that is running in the background of your brain to help regulate feelings of sleepiness and wakefulness.

It tells our bodies when to sleep, rise, eat, digest, and also responsible in regulating many other physiological processes, such as hormone release and body temperature.

How much melatonin your body produces is dependent by the amount of light you are exposed to.

Melatonin secretion is decreased during daylight hours, which is why humans are more wakeful when the sun is out.

On the other hand, as the sun goes down, the pineal gland releases greater amounts of melatonin, which is why you feel sleepy and tired when it’s dark outside. Source.

In addition to the important role melatonin plays in our body’s biological clock, melatonin also regulates the onset of puberty, reproductive hormones, fights against harmful free radicals, reduces pain, acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, supports cellular immune responses, and promotes healing in damaged tissues. Source.

Beside producing melatonin, pineal gland is also linked to a wide range of functions including bone metabolism, mental health, pituitary gland function, drug metabolism, aging, and sense of direction. source.

Additionally, pineal gland has been found to manufacture trace amounts of the psychedelic chemical dimethyltryptamine, or DMT. DMT is a powerful psychoactive substance that our body produces naturally. It is believed to play a role in dreaming and possibly near-death experiences and other mystical states.

It is surprising to see how a small pea sized gland can have such vast impacts on the human body. With so many important functions performed by the pineal gland, a properly functioning pineal gland is of great important for good health and well being, while suppressed or calcified pineal gland is related to a number of startling conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, circadian dysregulation, insomnia, bipolar disease, hormones imbalance, fatigue, depression, and lower back pain. Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland naturally With Organic Sulfur While researching information for my article, I came across an article that talked about the link between calcification of the pineal gland and Alzheimer’s disease and thought it was interesting and insightful article that is worth sharing. New Insight: Alzheimer’s Disease Linked to Pineal Gland Calcification from Fluoride.

We know pineal gland calcification is one of the factors that could lead to memory issues. If you or your loved ones suffer from memory issues, Brad at Situational wellness did an great job providing detailed and well researched information regarding other factors that can impair memory or cognitive functions.

He pointed out a few factors such as prescription drugs, smoking, and alcohol can all negatively impair your brain functions. Brad went on and provided useful tips regarding ways to improve memory issues naturally. I’ve read many of his articles and they have benefited me tremendously and hopefully his information will also improve your brain functions and your overall heath as well. If Memory Serves Well: Insights On How To Improve Your Brain Power.

What are the causes of pineal gland calcification?

As we age, our pineal gland starts to calcify, causing calcium phosphate to build up and accumulate in the pineal gland. It is estimated that many people experience symptoms of calcification by the time they are 17 years old.  The pineal gland often appears calcified on skull x-rays or ct scan due to many causes that I will explain shortly.

The most prominent pineal gland dysfunction is the change in circadian rhythm, leading to disrupted sleep pattern. Other symptoms of pineal gland calcification include the following:

  • Headaches, nausea and vomiting.
  • Difficulty with sense of direction
  • Feeling tired.
  • Excessive craving for alcohol.
  • Feeling depressed.
  • Feeling cold or a low body temperature.
  • Hormone imbalance.
  • Unnaturally early sexual development.
  • Memory loss.
  • Changes in fertility, menstrual cycle, or ovulation.
  • Osteoporosis
  • Mental health issues, especially seasonal symptoms.

Individuals that consume mostly processed and refined foods are much more likely to have calcified pineal gland those consuming healthy and organic foods. Additionally, exposing to toxins in the environment, stress and modern life, the pineal gland also becomes hardened, then calcified and eventually becomes dysfunctional.

Beside aging and unhealthy foods contributing to pineal gland calcification, there are also many other culprits that are responsible for pineal gland calcification. These include halides (Fluoride, Chlorine and Bromide), calcium, heavy metals, processed foods, and drugs.

Halides are chemical substances including Fluoride, Chlorine and Bromide. They all contribute to pineal gland calcification and should be avoided.

Ways to Decalcify Pineal Gland NaturallyMany of us are aware that the fluoride in our drinking water has negative impact on our pineal gland and our health. What many people don’t realize is there’s actually a difference between natural fluroide and synthetic fluride.

Naturally occurring fluoride is a trace mineral found in the earth just like any other mineral in the form of calcium fluoride, which may be beneficial for our bone health. But this is not what’s added to our water supply. Instead, the non-pharmaceutical grade synthetic materials like fluorosilicic acid, sodium fluosilicate, hydrofluoric acid or sodium fluoride is added to the public water.

Synthetic fluorides are hazardous byproducts of the phosphate fertilizer industry, which is known to cause many health problems including calcifying the pineal gland. It is very sad that many people have been mislead to believe sodium fluoride is good for dental health, the reality is it’s toxic and should be avoid at all cost.

In fact, fluoride is like a magnet that attracts to the pineal gland more so than any other organ, even more than the bones and teeth, and basically shuts the gland down. As your pineal gland calcifies, less melatonin is produced leading to sleep problems and many other health problems mentioned earlier.

Not only synthetic fluoride is added to our water source, fluoride is also present is store-bought products such as mouthwash and toothpaste, and other sources such as Prozac (fluoxetine), fluoroquinolone antibiotics and non-stick cookware. These could all be contributing to the alarming increase in pineal gland calcification. Source.

  • Always check your dental product labels to make sure they are fluoride free.
  • Switch to fluoride free mouthwash and toothpaste. Use saltwater or oil-pulling is a better and healthier option than store bought mouthwash.
  • Avoid using non-stick cookware. Cooking with Teflon-coated pans can significantly increase the fluoride content of food.
  • And avoid drinking tap water, tap water is full of synthetic fluoride.
  • Use water filter such as reverse osmosis filtration system, activated alumina, or deinoining method to remove fluoride out of your water.

The tooth paste I personally use and recommend is Tom’s of Maine Antiplaque and Whitening Fluoride-Free Toothpaste.

Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland naturally With Organic Sulfur?Chlorine is a highly efficient disinfectant, which is added to public water supplies to kill disease-causing pathogens, such as bacteria and virus.

It’s great that chlorine prevents us from getting these disease-causing pathogens, but at the same time drinking or exposing to chlorinated water does no good for our health, leading to many health problems including pineal gland calcification.

  • Avoid drinking and showering in chlorinated water.
  • Water filter is a great way to remove chlorine and other contaminants from tap water.
  • Shower filter is a great way to eliminate chlorine exposure in shower. Invest in a shower filter is very important because you are actually expose to more chlorine in 10 minute shower than by drinking 8 glasses of that same water. Source.

The shower filter I use and recommend is AquaBliss High Output 12-Stage Shower Filter.

Decalcify Pineal Gland NaturallyBromide are environmental toxins and common endocrine disruptors that can be found in pesticides, plastics, bakery goods, soda, medications, fire retardants, and bromine-based hot tub and swimming pool treatments.

Exposing to bromide can negatively affect your thyroid function, because it competes for the same receptors that are used to capture iodine. Iodine is crucial for thyroid function and without iodine, your thyroid gland would not be able to produce thyroid hormone, which can lead to hypothyroidism. Source.

Beside the damaging effects of bromide to thyroid health, bromide is much like fluoride, it can also accumulate and damage the pineal gland, and lead to many health problems as mentioned earlier.

Trying to avoid bromide is almost inevitable, it’s almost like trying to avoid air pollution. However, there are certainly few things you can do to minimize its exposure.

  • Avoid sodas. Drink filtered water instead.
  • Avoid drinking and eating foods from plastic containers.
  • Avoid storing foods in plastic containers. Instead use glass or ceramic container to store foods.
  • Consume organic foods as often as possible. Be sure to wash all produce thoroughly and this will help to minimize pesticide exposure.
  • Use non-toxic, preferably organic personal care products if possible.

2. Calcium

Ways to Decalcify Pineal Gland NaturallyIf you consume a lot of calcium either from processed food or calcium supplements, this can lead to pineal gland calcification. In fact, virtually all processed foods have some form of synthetic calcium, such as calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate or dicalcium phosphate.

What many people don’t realize is that taking calcium supplements can actually be more detrimental to your health than you think, unless you are taking an equal amount or more magnesium. Read “Potential Danger Of Calcium Supplements” for more detail.

Taking calcium not only can lead to pineal gland calcification, but also increases a person’s risk for strokes and heart attacks. Source.

It is far better to gain calcium through our diet and calcium rich foods than taking calcium supplements. Foods such as almonds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, leafy greens like spinach and kale, quinoa, oranges, broccoli, and other calciferous vegetables are great calcium containing foods. These foods will not only increase your calcium level but will also provide you with a more balanced set of nutrients.

3. Heavy Metals

Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland With Organic SulfurWe know heavy metals such as mercury and aluminium are poisonous to our health. They also play a part in the modern-day epidemic of neurological diseases. The pineal gland is not protected by the blood brain barrier and has a very high blood perfusion rate, and this makes it particularly vulnerable to toxic chemicals such as mercury (thimerosal) and aluminum. Source.

One type of mercury that can be found in the human body is mercury tooth fillings and also in some vaccines as well. Mercury is also found in many forms of seafood, including tuna, shrimp, prawns, and dolphin meat. The larger the fish the higher the concentration of mercury in its body tissues.

Mercury-filled light bulbs or eco light bulbs are also hazardous to health because if they break, the vapor can escape into the air and be inhaled into your body.

Heavy metals are also found in a wide variety of personal care products such as skin lightening creams, lipstick, whitening toothpaste, eyeliner and nail color. Some metals are intentionally added as ingredients and some are contaminants.

  • Some people still have mercury tooth fillings and is it recommended that you consider getting them removed.
  • Avoid consuming the seafood mentioned above.
  • Avoid personal care products that contain heavy metals. Always read and study product labels.
  • Avoid inhaling mercury vapor.

4. Processed food

Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland naturally With Organic Sulfur Processed foods are not only calorie dense, nutrient deficient and doesn’t benefit the body in any way, they also contribute to the calcification of the pineal gland.

As I’ve mentioned earlier that virtually all processed foods have some form of synthetic calcium, and synthetic calcium is no good for your pineal gland.

Processed foods such as chicken nuggets, chicken patties, chicken fingers, boneless chicken wings, and chicken byproducts have found to contain high levels of fluoride. It’s scary to think these are the foods parents sometime feed their kids with.

So how does fluoride get into the chicken?  During the mechanical de-boning process, the quantity of bone particles in the meat is increased and causes fluoride to get into Chicken. Since bone is the main site of fluoride accumulation in the body, the higher level of bone particles in deboned chicken means significantly elevated fluoride level in the meat.

Of all meats that are mechanically deboned, chicken meat has consistently been found to contain the highest levels of fluoride. This means any processed meats such as sausages, hot dogs, and deli meats also contain some fluoride as well.

  • Avoid processed foods as much as you can.
  • Eat as much organic, non-GMO foods as you possibly can.
  • If you consume animal products, ensure they are organic, free-range, and synthetic hormone and antibiotic free.
  • Read your food labels carefully, if the ingredients look unfamiliar, it’s probably not healthy and your best bet is to avoid it.

5. Drugs

Pineal Gland Calcification - How to Decalcify Pineal Gland With Organic Sulfur?Sugar, caffeine, and alcohol are drugs because they affect the brain chemistry and often times create a vicious cycle of intense cravings.  They also impede the pineal gland’s functioning and add to its calcification.

Some fluoridated drugs have been found to metabolize into fluoride within the body and greatly increase one’s exposure to fluoride.

Fluoride containing pharmaceuticals product such as Prozac (fluoxetine), fluoroquinolone antibiotics, Cipro (ciprofloxacin) antibiotics, fluorinated anesthetics (Isoflurane & Sevoflurane), Niflumic acid, Flecainide, and Voriconazole should be avoid.

Calcium supplements are also causes of pineal gland calcification.

  • Avoid sugar, caffeine, and alcohol. Consuming them every once in a while is fine, just don’t make it a habit.
  • Avoid fluoride containing and calcium containing medicines or supplements, talk to your doctor to find an alternative if possible.

How to decalcify pineal gland with organic sulfur?

There are two steps to decalcifying pineal gland.

First step is to stop any further pineal gland calcification by following the solutions I mentioned under the causes of pineal gland calcification. It is not necessary to follow all my recommendations, but try a few and monitor your results.

Second step is to remove or reduce existing pineal gland calcification. It is important that you be patient and take one step at a time gradually since decalcifying the pineal gland will take time.

There are several things you can take or do to decalcify pineal gland, but for the purpose of this article, I will only focus on using organic sulfur (MSM) to remove existing pineal gland calcification.

Organic sulfur is a great mineral for our hair, skin, nail and bone. It’s the third most abundant mineral in the human body and is absolutely essential for the proper functioning of the body. Organic sulfur is also called bioavailable sulfur because it is in the form that our body can easily absorb.

We are supposed to get sulfur from natural unprocessed foods we eat, but modern farming techniques have significantly interfered with the natural sulfur cycle. Our body does not store or produce sulfur,  it is passed every 12 hours, and constant supply of sulfur is required for proper functioning.

Sulfur plays an important role in the oxygenation and detoxification of all cells. This is especially important in the world we live in today.

Everyday we are assaulted by a wide range of chemicals and environmental toxins in the air we breath, the foods we consume, the products we use, and the water we drink. Without sulfur, our body simply can not mobilize and release toxins, and these toxins accumulate and get embedded in our cells, which can make us more susceptible to illnesses.

Organic sulfur (MSM) is very effective and powerful for general detoxification and decalcifying pineal glands by oxygenating cells, alkalizing blood, removing toxins and heavy metals.

It works by enhancing the permeability of cell membranes, which makes it easier for cells to absorb nutrients, and waste products to be eliminated. Sulfur can easily bind with most toxins to form a sulfate, such as mercury sulfate, lead sulfate, barium sulfate, arsenic sulfate, aluminum sulfate, and strontium sulfate. By bonding with all the toxic heavy metals, sulfur can safely remove them from the body via the gastrointestinal system.

It is important that you use a high quality organic sulfur product, as some cheap organic sulfur are petroleum based. Please read my sulfur FAQ and my review on the sulfur product I personally use so you can make a more informed decision on your sulfur purchase.

The sulfur product I use is called the gold standard organic sulfur. I’ve tried many sulfur products, and in my humble opinion, gold standard organic sulfur crystal is the best and the most effective organic sulfur I’ve used. Crystal form is far more effective than the pill or capsule form. Most pill or capsule form contains fillers and anti caking agents, which will reduce sulfur’s effectiveness greatly. gold standard organic sulfur Organic sulfur (MSM) Superdose Cleanse directions:

1. Take 1,000 mg of vitamin C per day as it helps with the removal of toxins.

  • Vitamin C helps to increase the effectiveness of organic sulfur.
  • It is not required to take organic sulfur with vitamin C, although it is recommended. Sulfur is still powerful and effective by itself.
  • I recommend using Acerola Cherry powder vitamin C.

2. Start with 3,000 mg of organic sulfur per day and drink plenty of non fluoridated and non chlorinated clean water.

3. Add 1,000 mg of organic sulfur to your daily dose each day until you reach 20,000 mg per day of organic sulfur.

  • Stay at this dose for 3-7 days until you feel your body is flushed of toxins.
  • You will feel great since your body will be cleaner.
  • Organic sulfur is safe and there is no toxicity involved. You can’t taking too much of sulfur, because your body will use what it needs and the excess amount will simply be urinated out.

4. After 3-7 days, reduce the dose to 3,000 mg of organic sulfur per day or for healthy maintenance and PH buffering.

  • This dose can be adjusted depending on how much acidic foods or drinks you consume.
  • It is most accurate to use a digital scale to measure the sulfur, but measuring spoon would also be fine.

As you begin taking organic sulfur, if you experience flu-like symptoms, dizziness, or the onset of diarrhea, don’t worry, this is a good sign.

They are normal and natural detoxification process meaning that your body is adjusting in a healing way due to a sudden availability of oxygen and nutrients to you body cells.

These symptoms will get better over time. If at any point these symptoms become too uncomfortable, make sure you lower your dose.
